Students are required to attend one hour of theory class each day Tuesday through Saturday. Total Cosmetology Training Center takes pride in our partnership with Nail Salons and Spas, hosting many professional guest artists demonstrating their skills.
The clinic is a departmentalized laboratory where the student rotates through the assigned areas of manicuring. The students take assignments at the reception desk as well as the dispensary laboratory to learn safety in storing, mixing and applying product chemistry. Students working in the clinical area are given individual classes while being actively engaged with the public. All subjects taught shall be tested by a series of written and practical exams designed to measure student’s knowledge and skills at 40 and 550 hours. 25% of work is done on mannequins, 75% of work performed on live clients.
